As soon as Fabiola went platinum, movie studios, forever on the hunt for the next blonde bombshell, came knocking! In the late 60s Fabiola was tapped to play the Rita Hayworth role in a remake of the 1947 film, Down to Earth. As rehearsals began, photo stills were taken to promote the film and its lead actress. Cedrick's created its own version of the gown that was to be worn in the film. A studio scandal caused production to cease and the film was never completed. The existing footage of the film is rumored to have been thrown away in a the late 1980s. Thankfully these images remain.
