Cedrick's of Hollywood's early 60s "Jewel Box Color Block" separates really caught a nerve with the young nightclub set. Looking for a way to stand out in a crowd, these outfits really added the exclamation point to one's unique individual style. It's been talked about with those in-the-know that a young French designer was so taken by this collection that he caused a sensation with his own color blocked dresses.
