The "Magic Fit" separates collection launched in the late 1950s and caught on quickly caught on with the jet-setters quite quickly for its style, comfort and fabulous fit. As TV caught on, so did marketing efforts around fashions for this favorite new pastime. Soon after not only were jetsetters enjoying these clothes, but so were the lounge arounds at home. As sales picked up, bold patterns and colors were peppered throughout seasonal collections. The "Color Craze" Magic Fits heavily relied on neon dyes and colorants.

This doll is one-of-a kind and comes fully dressed in bright orange cropped turtleneck bodice, hot pink hot pants, and ever the lady, bright orange gloves. Her other accessories include a yellow vinyl bag with printed leopard leather front flap and pink "jewel" closure, yellow metal hoop earrings, gold metal belt with rhinestone buckle, yellow spike heels and a neon pink and yellow bangle bracelet. Fabiola's face is hand-painted then sprayed with a matte finish. This Fabiola has glossy lips. Her body is hand buffed, then a wash of bronzer is added to some areas. She is then highlighted in fine glittery gold dust and is sealed with a gloss finish for extra glow. Her custom box is reminiscent of perfume packaging of the 1950s. The back of her box includes her bio. Series 1 is limited to 300 dolls and her number in that series is listed at the bottom of the box. A simple acrylic stand is also included.
Fabiola is approximately 11.5" tall. She is a pin-uppity glamour doll for the adult collector and is not a toy. She is one of a kind and should be treated as a work of art.
