Since Cedrick's was the IT place for the IT girls of Hollywood to get their fashions, it makes sense that much of their marketing was to wanna-be starlets. This dress is a perfect example. This was very early on in Fabiola's career and probably dates to about 1955.

This doll comes fully dressed in a beautiful off-shoulder dress with a full gathered skirt and with rhinestone detailing near the waist. Her accessories include a three-strand iridescent rhinestone necklace and iridescent stone bracelet and earrings. Fabiola wears long yellow gloves, yellow spike heels, a silvery gray headband in her hair, and carries a silver fringe clutch. Dress by Tania Lawrence and accessories by Mr. B.

Fabiola's face is hand-painted then sprayed with a matte finish. Her body is hand buffed, then a wash of bronzer is added to some areas. She is then highlighted in fine glittery gold dust and is sealed with a gloss finish for extra glow. Her custom box is reminiscent of perfume packaging of the 1950s. The back of her box includes her bio. Series 1 is limited to 300 dolls and her number in that series is listed at the bottom of the box. A simple acrylic stand is also included.
Fabiola is approximately 11.5" tall. She is a pin-uppity glamour doll for the adult collector and is not a toy. She is one of a kind and should be treated as a work of art.
