Since Cedrick's was the IT place for the IT girls of Hollywood to get their fashions, it makes sense that much of their marketing was to wanna-be starlets and this is a perfect example. This was very early on in Fabiola's career and probably dates to about 1955.

This doll comes fully dressed in a beautiful off-shoulder dress with full gathered skirt and with rhinestone detailing near waist. Her accessories include rhinestone necklace with drop stone, iridescent rhinestone bracelet, rhinestone drop earrings, black spiked heels, lilac gloves and a long slim embroidered clutch lined in hot pink. Fabiola's face is hand-painted then sprayed with a matte finish. This Fabiola has matte purple lips. Her body is hand buffed, then a wash of bronzer is added to some areas. She is then highlighted in fine glittery gold dust and is sealed with a gloss finish for extra glow. Her custom box is reminiscent of perfume packaging of the 1950s. The back of her box includes her bio. Series 1 is limited to 300 dolls and her number in that series is listed at the bottom of the box. A simple acrylic stand is also included.
Fabiola is approximately 11.5" tall. She is a pin-uppity glamour doll for the adult collector and is not a toy. She is one of a kind and should be treated as a work of art.
