This dress is mermaid magic to perfection. Flounces and ruffles mixed with molded silhouettes were a huge Cedrick's staple. Cedrick's frocks gave the look of something that was sewn onto the body and had the "allure" coming right off if the wearer moved the wrong way. For this reason, "Hollywood Coquette" fit the bill.

This doll is one-of-a kind and comes fully dressed in a luscious evergreen lace trumpet sheath dress with mermaid flounce. The cognac colored rhinestone necklace accentuates Fabiola's red hair and works with the tones in her leopard and emerald clutch. Fabiola wears a huge "cocktail ring" over a long opera length black glove. Black spike heels round out her look. Dress by Aleida Ortiz and accessories by Mr. B.

Fabiola's face is hand-painted then sprayed with a matte finish. This Fabiola has gloss lips. Her body is hand buffed, then a wash of bronzer is added to some areas. She is then highlighted in fine glittery gold dust and is sealed with a gloss finish for extra glow. Her custom box is reminiscent of perfume packaging of the 1950s. The back of her box includes her bio. Series 1 is limited to 300 dolls and her number in that series is listed at the bottom of the box. A simple acrylic stand is also included.
Fabiola is approximately 11.5" tall. She is a pin-uppity glamour doll for the adult collector and is not a toy. She is one of a kind and should be treated as a work of art.
